We use the Yealink Internet Phone, Model SIP-T46U
General Notes
When a phone is first setup, its pin is the same as the extension. When you connect, it will take you through the tutorial where it asks you to records your greetings and so on. You should also change your pin at this time to a 4 numeral value rather than the 3 numeral extension. That will tell the system you have already gone through the tutorial and setup your greetings and what not, and it will no longer automatically take you into the tutorial.
After making most changes to the phone system, be sure to save the changes. You will then see if the update is pending based on a number on the icon at the top right of the screen. After you have made most changes and they have been processed, you need to reboot any phones that the change applies to. To do that, pull the power to the phone for +30 sec then plug it back in. This forces the phone to reconnect to the main voip server and pull down and the template info which includes the changes just made.
