Capital City Christian Church

The AWC Kiosks

Background

In 1Q20 there were several devices on a shelf in the Children's hall used to check children in/out using the Check Ins program from Planning Center. They relied on WiFi, and often failed.

The operational problems were addressed, but the program continued to be used only for tracking children.

Then in the summer of 2021 it was decided that Check Ins would be expanded to include everyone present at services. The reason being this was the best way to provide everyone with name tags. And name tags help to break down the walls that keep people from talking with one another, and general fellowship.
