Capital City Christian Church

Remote Resources

The Layout

The RemotePC portion has not been deployed yet, but is expected in 2024.

As you can see in the middle center of the image below, staff and participants can be either on-site at the church building, or they can be elsewhere (both labeled as 'Participant Location'. Home, on the road, at school...

At the bottom left you see that our inhouse NAS file server (which also functions as our internal Web Server) uses the IDrive cloud back service for off-site backups and restores.

In the upper middle you see Video Conferencing service 'meeting'. As you can see, it is linked to both inside of and outside of the church building. The double headed arrows indicate that the meeting service can be used by one or more people either in the church building, outside of the church building, or both. A conference can take place consisting of participants who are all in the church building. Or, they can all be outside of the church building, or they can be both inside and others outside of the church building.

Almost the same is true of the 'remotepc' service. The person using remotepc to connect to a machine can only connect to specific machines within the church building. But the person doing the connecting can be either in the building, or anywhere on the outside where they have Internet access. The double arrows related to remotepc indicate that the person is able to interactively see and operate the machine that is located in the church building.
